Perrigo Receives FDA Approval to Market Orange, Coated Nicotine Gum

ALLEGAN - The Perrigo Company announced Thursday that it has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market an over-the-counter version of Nicorette gum, which is an aid to smoking cessation. The overall market for OTC nicotine gum and lozenge products is estimated at approximately $750 million annually at all retail outlets.
