DETROIT ? A huge line up of government, industry and academic speakers will soon be announced for the November Michigan Summit, says Michigan Chief Information Officer David Behen.

Behen, in an interview with MITechNews.Com Editor Mike Brennan, said those announcements will be made sometime this month.

Also on tap for the third Cyber Security Summit organized by Gov. Rick Snyder is exercises on the Cyber Range with multiple international players, other states and the Michigan National Guard, Behen said.

The event this year will also get national coverage from Bloomberg News and Inc. Magazine, he said. Sessions will be streamed live for those who can?t attend. Behen expects upwards of 1000 people to attend, including a VIP invitation-only reception Nov. 16, the night before the Summit on Nov. 17.

Major sponsors signed up so far include AT&T, Unisys, Deloitte and Microsoft. Snyder will serve as the keynote speaker.

The agenda for the event will feature internationally recognized keynote speakers as well as experts from around the country to lead the following featured tracks:
