Consumers Offers Solar Electric Customers Surplus Energy Buyback

JACKSON ? Consumers Energy electric customers with solar generating systems can sell their surplus output back to the electric utility for a fix price contract over 15 years. But they need to submit their applications by May 8.

Starting April 1, Consumers Energy electric customers can submit applications for what?s called the non-residential capacity in Phase 11 and residential capacity in Phase 12 of the Experimental Advanced Renewable Program.
