TRAVERSE CITY – The audience overwhelmingly voted for Cindy Bauer’s (founder and CEO), medical data sharing app, Coordinista, designed to streamline data for nurses and hospitals.

Born out of Bauer’s passion to help frustrated nurse care managers better connect with patients who often fall through the cracks after being discharged from the hospital. Coordinista’s tools are easy to use and save time, optimizing clinicians’ workflow in the field. The app also provides data and analytics regarding how to best utilize valuable resources, impacting patient outcomes, through various field services.

Thomas Coke pitched his company: Varsity Gems
Varsity Gems, an NFT (non-fungible token) platform, generates and sells visual NFT assets for aspiring college and university athletes. Coke’s company provides student athletes with an additional source of income while providing stronger connections with alumni and peers.

Dan Schutter pitched his company: Space Interactions, Inc.
Space Interactions is building a safe and secure platform to improve Space Situational Awareness (SSA), Space Traffic Management (STM), and tracking of orbital debris. The platform is uniquely designed to increase the trust, security, privacy, and traceability of data transmitted across the network. Space Interactions, Inc. empowers global participants with the most comprehensive data sets for collision avoidance and fleet management.

Seth Beaudry pitched his company: NFT ERA
NFT ERA, an NFT company with an emphasis on creating a digital community, has a distinctive philanthropic focus. A portion of all the NFT ERA profits are donated to Beeline, a company working to place rugged and affordable wheelchairs in 3rd world countries.

Rodney Tesarz pitched his concept Presidentforaday.us
Presidentforaday.us’s main goal is to educate people in the finer details of our government and equip them with the tools to become active and empowered participants of the “Great American Experiment”. Tesarz, founder of Presidentforaday.us, has high hopes for his concept and hopes to foster debate ensuring the agreed upon solutions are distributed to elected officials, keeping them informed.

Jay Meldrum, Executive Director for Michigan Technological University, shared a Quick Tip, segment sponsored by Michigan Technological University, about the importance of ethics for startups and entrepreneurs. Meldrum gave examples of having to do the right thing vs taking the easy way out based on his career experiences.

Eric Roberts, Executive Director of 20Fathoms, provided quick updates about some of the activities happening at 20Fathoms, including:
• Meeting Maker, a previous TCNT winner’s achievements over the last couple of months.
• $50,000 Medc Grant presented to 20Fathoms
• Expanding dedicated desk space in their co-working space

Michigan’s Creative Coast opened up applications to become a Northern Explorer! Northern Explorers, a program designed to attract talent to Traverse City, provides assistance and showcases the employment activities in the area.
