ESD Launches Michigan Technological University Student Chapter

HOUGHTON – The Huskies are off and racing. Students of Michigan Technological University officially launched the MTU Student Chapter of The Engineering Society of Detroit Wednesday in a luncheon with ESD officials.

Attending were Wayne D. Pennington, Dean of the MTU College of Engineering, ESD Executive Director Robert Magee, ESD Director of Membership Heather Lilley, and ESD Director of Communications and Public Relations Matt Roush.

Magee told the students that ESD could help them fill the gaps that university educations and professional technical societies don’t always provide, from leadership development to networking to navigating the corporate world.
