ANN ARBOR  Michigan Works! Southeast invites all employers to attend two dynamic, no-cost events designed to unlock the future of workforce development through Registered Apprenticeships.
Race to Talent offers employers a hands-on opportunity to explore how apprenticeships can drive innovation, retention, and long-term growth.  Attendees will hear from fellow business leaders about the benefits of apprenticeships, network with key workforce partners, and learn the steps to set up their own apprenticeship program.
“Apprenticeships give employers a real opportunity to grow their own talent,” said Misty Shulters, Deputy Director of Michigan Works! Southeast. “They allow businesses to bring in motivated individuals, train them with the exact skills needed, and build a team that’s ready to contribute. Strong retention through programs like these not only benefits individual companies—it strengthens our workforce and supports the overall vitality of the community we all share.”
The first event will take place on October 23rd from 5pm-7pm at EHM Senior Solutions.  A second event will take place at Washtenaw Community College on November 14th from 9am-11am.
