EAST LANSING — More than 50 Michigan State University engineering students joined the latest student chapter of The Engineering Society of Detroit Monday night.
The MSU chapter became the seventh student chapter of ESD, the Southfield-based multi-disciplinary professional society for engineers and people in related technical fields.
ESD Executive Director Robert Magee told the students that ESD can help them close the gap between their technical education and the realities of the modern engineering workplace.
