Here’s everything you need to know about what happened during The Kid LAROI event.

In-game events have been a common trend in Fortnite for the past few years. Players with Fortnite accounts have seen collaborations between Shonen Jump, Marvel, and other well-known pop culture references come to the battle royale. This time around, The Kid LAROI is the latest artist to get their own shindig in Fortnite. The Wild Dreams event featured a performance from the rapper, and there was even an Afterparty!

Sony Music artist The Kid LAROI is an Australian singer, rapper, and songwriter that’s become a global force since his ascent in 2019. With Wild Dreams, players get to immerse themselves in a sonic experience that portrays LAROI’s journey—from humble beginnings to headlining sold-out concerts and becoming a worldwide star.

The Wild Dreams Event Has Concluded, But You Can Still Watch It

The Wild Dreams concert by Kid LAROI took place on Friday, January 27, 2023. Although the event has already concluded, you can still watch the festivities through videos players have recorded and uploaded on social media. It certainly doesn’t offer the same experience as you would if you attended the concert, but it’s better than nothing.

Players with Fortnite accounts that could watch The Kid LAROI’s Wild Dreams event were in the game at a specified date and time. They could enter the concert by going into a Creative Map entitled “The Kid LAROI’s Wild Dreams,” which can be found in the discovery tab, or they can enter by using the island code 2601-0606-9081.

Yes, It’s Still Worth It

Even if you couldn’t attend Wild Dreams, it’s still worth watching, especially if you’re a fan of The Kid LAROI. The event featured new music, including Love Again and three other unreleased songs.

The visuals of Wild Dreams are a treat to look at, with players venturing into the “Laroitown” cybercity; it’s the venue where people ultimately attended the jam-packed concert. The fun doesn’t stop after the performance, either. Once the show’s over, you could join Laroi in the Afterparty experience and listen to the Wild Dreams mix on a loop while getting a glimpse of how the rapper got his start.

Goodies Await

It’s not a full-blown affair without taking home a couple of extra goodies! If you managed to enter “The Kid LAROI’s Wild Dreams” Creative Map—the one with the island code 2601-0606-9081—between January 27, 6 PM ET to January 28, 6 AM ET, consider yourself lucky. That’s because you’ll be able to get the Reverberate Map for free! The distribution for the wrap will start in February, so be sure to log into your Fortnite account to check and see if you’ve received it.

Oh, and before we forget, there’s a dedicated Creative Map for the Afterparty experience too! Team Atomic, TheBoyDilly, and Alliance Studios made the island, and it’s available for everyone to access from January 27 to April 27, so you have plenty of time to have a look.

If you’re a superfan wanting to show dedication to The Kid LAROI, you can get The Kid Laroi and The Rogue Laroi outfits in the Fortnite Item Shop. The Kid Laroi outfit, in particular, comes with the Electrified Style along with its default look. It also includes the Get My Back Back Bling and comes in two flavors: the blue default Style and the pink Left Alone Style. The Rogue Laroi outfit, on the other hand, turns the hitmaker into the hunter. Much like The Kid Laroi skin, it has a default and Electrified Style. This outfit comes with the Tragic Blade Back Bling and the Laroi Free Style Wrap to match it.

The cosmetic items don’t stop there! You can keep the party going—even after the Afterparty has concluded! Here are the accessories that are available to purchase in the Item Shop:

  • Tragic BLADE Pickaxe
  • Stay Lobby Track
  • Stay Afloat Emote
  • Heart of a King Emote

You can purchase the emotes and track individually or as a bundle through the Laroi’s Party Starter Bundle. The bundle includes the exclusive Wild Dreams Loading Screen.

Don’t Forget the Quests

Decking out your Fortnite account is as easy as pie when Epic keeps giving out quests for us to do in exchange for cosmetics. As part of The Kid LAROI’s event, a set of quests went live at the same time as the Wild Dreams concert. You can complete limited-time challenges and unlock special LAROI-themed items, such as:

  • LAROI’s Tag Spray
  • Thousand Miles Lobby Track
  • Love Again Lobby Track
  • The LAROI Was Here Loading Screen
  • The Rogue Loading Screen

These goodies won’t be available in the Fortnite Item Shop, so make sure you do them before the Creative Map for The Kid LAROI’s Wild Dreams and Afterparty island goes away for good on April 27!
