DETROIT – Internet Explorer version 7.0 was released on Oct. 18. Don’t update and block your automatic updates to make sure you don’t get it without your permission. The InfraGard site is not compatible.

The news was contained in a Tech Notice sent to all InfraGard members by related to adoption of the new IE7 browser recently released by Microsoft. Please check your email for this detailed document.

The email says the InfraGard site is currently not IE7 compatible, so please do not update to IE7, nor allow the automatic delivery of IE7, which will occur if you or your users are currently subscribed to Microsoft automatic updates.

The email contains a link that will block the automatic delivery, which is available at: Microsoft.Com
