ANN ARBOR ? I don?t often take the opportunity to write directly to my readers and listeners, but MITechNews.Com has so much great news to announce I wanted to share it with you in our Guest Column.
Hi. I?m Mike Brennan, Editor and Publisher of MITechNews.Com. I founded the web news portal site in the year 2000 after I left the Detroit Free Press where I covered technology for the regional daily newspaper. We?ve added several content partners over the years, including Gongwer.Com for its great legislative coverage. Last year we partnered with the Internet Advisor on WJR 760 AM in Detroit, a great two-hour radio show that highlights what?s happening in technology and also helps folks with computer and technology issues.
This month, we are proud to announce we have created a content partnership with a lively new online publication focused on Michigan Entrepreneurs. It is called Michipreneur.Com. Founder Amanda Lewan?s outstanding coverage is highlighted in the MITechNews.Com Entrepreneur?s_Corner_Section.
Also this month, we?re very happy to announce we?ve partnered with a very popular Internet Radio Show called IT IN THE D. I had the opportunity Monday to appear on the show along with Internet Advisor co-host Gary Baker where we got involved in the mayhem and madness that makes this show so popular. Some 100,000 unique visitors surf to ITinTHED.Com each month with a like number or more listening to the show live or as a podcast. If you?d like to hear Gary and I on the show this week, click on ITInTheD.Com
We?re not done yet. We?re also in talks with several other technology groups and associations in Michigan about landing them as content partners as well. So what we will have to offer our readers, listeners, and sponsors in 2015 will be a tremendous package of news, information, events listings, podcasts in audio and later in the year in video. And even more folks in Michigan and around the world will get access to our three web sites, four podcast channels, and two eNewsletters. No turtle doves, however. (Christmas pun).
Finally, I?d like to add a personal note of thanks to all the readers and listeners for making 2014 so spectacular for MITechNews.Com. I?d also like to wish you all a very happy Holiday Season. There is so much for which we need to be thankful. To borrow from one of my favorite Christmas classics, God bless us everyone.
