TROY – The Money Finders Inc. helps entrepreneurs running startup and early-stage companies find the funding needed to propel their products and services from concept or prototype stage to the market place where they can start generating revenue.
The Money Finders also introduces qualified investors to pre-screened opportunities for participating in new businesses and in established growth-targeted businesses.
In both cases, the objective is to open doors for entrepreneurs and investors to potentials for creating wealth that otherwise might go unrealized.
The search for angel and early-stage capital spans a vast range. Here are two examples:
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION. An established company with years of experience in its field designed and now is ready to produce modular wastewater treatment systems that can be sized to service residential subdivisions, municipalities, resorts, industrial plants, hospitals, universities, military bases, construction sites and farms.
Rather than employ unapproved new technologies, this company re-engineered a widely used wastewater treatment process to gain a two- to three-fold cost/performance improvement. Its patent-pending design gives the company significant advantages over its competitors as it bids on new wastewater treatment systems and upgrades to many hundreds of existing installations. The company already has received RFPs representing over $100 million in potential revenue from local, national and international prospective customers.
The Money Finders is working to locate an immediate $1 million in investment capital for gaining environmental agency approvals. A second $1 million to $2 million investment will then be needed to produce and install wastewater treatment systems for an initial queue of customers. Subsequently, the company expects to be self-sustaining and capable of funding its own continuing expansion.
CLEANING UP. The ?Sponge Stick? is a patented handheld device for cleaning toilets, showers, tiles, sinks or other bathroom and/or kitchen surfaces. It features a tilting, swiveling sponge-like cleaning head attached to a telescoping hollow handle that contains a cleaning solution.
The cleaning head can be square, rectangular, round, oval, triangular ? virtually any shape. This means it can reach into corners where other devices cannot. The handle telescopes to several convenient lengths. It minimizes reaching, bending and stooping, a special advantage for older people. A spring-loaded detent holds the handle at the selected extension. Afterward, the handle can be collapsed for storage.
Rudimentary sponge-on-a-handle devices commonly retail for $2 up to $5. The Sponge Stick will cost more, but promises to do a better job because of its engineered versatility. It should appeal especially to people with restricted physical ability.
The Sponge Stick was invented by a 13-year old who had been assigned by her parents to clean up the family?s bathroom. The family patented the Sponge Stick and is trademarking the name. If attractively packaged, Sponge Sticks and Sponge Stick auxiliary component packs could be merchandised in kitchen/bath stores and in home furnishings and fashion equipment catalogues.
The Money Finders is looking for an angel investor who will pay for fabricating some fully functional Sponge Sticks for testing and demonstrating to prospective retailers. We estimate this should cost $10,000.
