GRAND RAPIDS – Trivalent Group is hosting a free workshop designed to help businesses
prevent loss of data in a technology disruption on July 30 at Trivalent Group
Headquarters in Grandville.
Trivalent
Group is a leading cloud and managed services, IT support, business continuity
and network services company in Michigan. The free workshop, BIASurvivor (Be a
Survivor), provides information on data collection, risk mitigation, and
comprehensive business impact analysis to set continuity goals based on an
organization’s requirements and risk tolerance. BIA stands for Business Impact
Analysis.
“Half of
businesses never return to the marketplace following a major disaster.
Attendees will learn the skills they need to ensure their business will survive
any technological disruption,” said John Hey, Chief Operations Officer at
Trivalent Group. “When disaster strikes, they will be prepared for a successful
disaster recovery execution, minimize their losses and get back to business as
quickly as possible.”
The BIA
Survivor workshop will cover IT recovery strategies in light of potential
disruptions in: voice and data, network failures, data loss or sabotage, virus
or malware attacks, physical loss of data center or systems, and malicious
behavior.
