The newly released SQF Edition 7 has several new requirements and changes that apply to all sectors of the food industry. Food processors and manufacturers must move quickly to understand and prepare for upgrades in order to be compliant for audits conducted after July 1, 2012. Jeff Chilton, president of Chilton Consulting Group, is a certified SQF consultant and auditor, and a certified lead instructor for HACCP training. He will discuss the changes in Edition 7 to the SQF certification standards and provide guidance on achieving and maintaining SQF certification.
