NEW YORK –
Tickets are now on sale for the 2015 Martha Stewart American Made Summit Nov. 7
at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia’s headquarters in New York City.
Martha
Stewart American Made, now in its fourth year, is a nationally recognized
awards program that celebrates stars of the growing maker culture who have
turned their passions for handcrafted, well-designed goods into successful
small businesses and who proudly make their products in America. The 2015
American Made program honors these creative entrepreneurs across the food, crafts,
style, and design categories, and awards a cash prize of $10,000 to each of the
Honorees and the Audience Choice Winner, along with a trip for two to New York
City to attend the American Made Summit and the opportunity to be featured on
MarthaStewart.com, all to help promote and grow their businesses.
Martha
Stewart and the editors of Martha Stewart Living will select nine Honorees and
one Audience Choice Winner will be chosen by popular vote. All winners will be
announced on October 23.
For the 2015
American Made Summit, Martha Stewart has planned the ultimate day of panels and
talks, covering a wide variety of topics including building a successful brand,
financing and growing your small business, and using social media to drive
awareness and sales.
Over the
course of the day, guests will learn from and interact with Martha Stewart and
some of the nation’s most influential innovators, industry icons, and
successful entrepreneurs, and will network with other makers from across the
country who are reinvigorating their cities, towns, and the American economy. The
2015 American Made Award Honorees and Audience Choice Winner will also be
celebrated during the Summit, joining Martha on stage to discuss their
businesses and success stories.
By
purchasing a ticket to the 2015 American Made Summit ($300 for a full-day pass,
which includes access to all the panels and talks, as well as breakfast and
lunch), guests will also receive “Martha’s Map of NYC,” which will include some
of Martha’s favorite places to eat, learn, and shop in New York City, as well
as exclusive offers for guests during the Summit weekend. Following the all-day
