WARREN – Winning Futures, a non-profit organization that empowers young people to succeed through mentoring and strategic planning, announced the election of Hadas Bernard, Director at Bernard Financial Group, to the board.
“Michigan students deserve and want direction on careers and higher education,” Bernard said. Winning Futures provides the most dynamic guide and coaching/mentoring for our students’ successful adulthood. I am passionate about the enhancement, achievement and contentment of the next generation.”
Bernard lives in Birmingham, is an alumnus of The University of Michigan Ross Business School. She serves as director of Bernard Financial Group, BFG, a commercial mortgage banking firm providing financing, servicing and equity for commercial properties. Prior to BFG, Bernard acquired, developed and managed commercial and residential properties. She also directed the affordable housing program for the Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency.
Bernard has served as an Executive Board member of Kids Kicking Cancer and the HMD Board of Governors. She was a member of the Hebrew Free Loan Board of Trustees, JAS Board and the National UJA’s Woman’s Cabinet. Bernard is the immediate past Board Chair of the JVS Board of Trustees and a past recipient of The Institute of Human Relations Young Leadership Award.
Bernard is the founder of Trade Secrets, a fundraiser that provides support for Woman to Work. She also serves on the board of Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.
