WiTricity Corporation holds the patents on the foundational technology for wireless power over distanceusing a technique called Highly Resonant Wireless Power Transfer (HRWPT). EV (Electric Vehicles) are becoming a more important segment of the car industry all the time and charging those vehicles in a fast and efficient way is one of the biggest hurdles to overcome. That is a hurdle that WiTricity is overcoming and offering many other ways of transferring power to everything from smartphones to TV’s.
