OKEMOS – The Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association is

offering at least 10 scholarships on June 28 at the Michigan Renewable Energy

Fair, including a top scholarship of $1,500. Educators are invited to nominate

students who will be pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math fields

in college.

Scholarships are awarded by a lottery type drawing. Each

student nominated has an equal chance to win a scholarship to be used towards

tuition.

Nomination guidelines:

Student is pursuing math, science or engineering related

field in higher education

Student attended any public or private high school in

Michigan or may be a home schooled student who graduates in 2015

Student may be attending a local community college, or any

college or university in the state of Michigan for the first time

Student must be nominated by a former teacher prior to June

1, 2015 through our online nomination system

Nominated student or a representative of the student must check

in at the Michigan Renewable Energy Fair on June 27 at least one hour prior to

the drawing and be present to win
