LANSING – The Small Business Association of Michigan has named Todd Anderson as SBAM’s Vice President for Government Relations.
Anderson has more than a decade of experience in a wide range of staff leadership positions in the state legislature, including service as Chief of Staff for House Speaker Rick Johnson. Most recently, he was policy director for the DeVos for Governor campaign.
?We are delighted to bring Todd?s wide range of experience in policy formulation and coalition building to our association?s government relations efforts,? said SBAM President and CEO Rob Fowler.
?He has demonstrated an outstanding ability to develop creative policy proposals that have bipartisan appeal. That will be a valuable skill as SBAM and our members continue to focus the power of Michigan?s diverse small business community toward economic revitalization and entrepreneurial dynamism.?
Anderson is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Western Michigan University. He and his family live in Grand Ledge.
