DETROIT – Airfoil Public Relations announced Account Director Kevin Sangsland has been appointed to the executive board of the Michigan Chapter of the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners.
The IAMCP is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote the growth of its membership through fostering an environment focused on community, education, advocacy, and networking initiatives.
For nearly ten years, Microsoft has relied upon Airfoil to support its mission to help people and businesses around the world realize their full potential. Airfoil’s long-standing relationship with Microsoft has expanded the practice to include Microsoft?s partner companies.
?Having a profound understanding of Microsoft’s business makes Kevin well positioned to support the communications needs of IAMCP?s Michigan Chapter, and we?re excited to gain significant insight from his experience,? said Scott Pettit, from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers and new chapter president.
As communications director Sangsland will provide counsel and work with chapter board leadership to strategically position the association through external and association member communications ? including public relations program and event promotion, and digital and social media engagement – to activate and grow the association?s membership base.
?We are excited for Kevin and his opportunity to continue to contribute to the Microsoft community through his new position on the IAMCP board,? said Airfoil President Janet Tyler. ?Understanding the Microsoft partner community has been a key component in our overall success working with Microsoft for nearly 10 years. It?s fantastic to have another avenue to support this important group.?
