TAYLOR – Atlas Oil Company has completed its acquisition of Ro-Di Oil Company of Veerdersburg, Indiana. Ro-Di distributes approximately 10 million gallons of petroleum products annually in the central Indiana region.
Ron Hayman, President of Ro-Di Oil, will assist in the transition. His son, RD Hayman, has joined the Atlas Oil team as district manager.
“The acquisition of Ro-Di Oil Company is a natural extension of our retail business and enhances our present dealer model,” said Sam Simon, CEO and Owner, Atlas Oil Company. “Strategically, this addition extends our Indiana footprint and adds to our transportation business and wholesale branded and unbranded customer base.”
Atlas meets the fuel and service needs of businesses, municipalities and government agencies in 23 states. Atlas also supplies fuel to nearly 400 gasoline convenience stores throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
Atlas maintains operational centers in Taylor; Niles; Hammond, Indiana; Houston, Texas and Toledo, Ohio, as well as satellite offices in Minneapolis, MN; Scottsdale, AZ; La Feria, TX; and Albuquerque, NM.
