DETROIT ? Offered through AT&T, FiLIP and Amber Alert GPS are portable smart locator and communication devices that provide the answer to a question parents have been asking themselves for years: how can I give my child the freedom to be a kid, but still make sure they are safe?
Amber Alert GPS is the size of a key fob and can easily be clipped to a child?s backpack or clothing. Parents can set up email alerts, check on their child?s location, customize zones and add authorized users. Parents have unlimited voice and can reach out to their children to see where they are, whether it?s waiting in line at carpool or lost in the neighborhood.
FiLIP is a colorful watch with unlimited two-way voice calling capabilities that keeps parents and their children in touch. Parents can stay updated on their child?s location through an app on their smartphone and they can designate five trusted contacts with whom the child can communicate.
Starting November 22, Amber Alert GPS will be available online and in AT&T?s flagship Michigan Avenue retail location. Customers can purchase it for $129.99. FiLIP, a smart locator and voice watch for kids that keeps parents and kids in touch at the push of a button, also will be available online and in the Michigan Avenue retail location for $199.99.
