TROY – Mix a little business with baseball at a networking event that pays homage to one of Detroit?s greatest pastimes. Automation Alley, Michigan?s largest technology business association, is hosting Homeruns & Handshakes at its Detroit office on May 7, from 4-6 p.m. Afterward, follow the crowd to Comerica Park to watch the Tigers take on the Houston Astros at 7 p.m.
Presented by the Automation Alley Finance Committee, this casual downtown networking event will give attendees the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs with exciting ventures and the service providers who support them. Attendees will enjoy a ballpark-themed spread while they trade business cards and baseball memories.
?At Automation Alley, we?re always looking for ways to take networking outside the standard conference room setting. Doing something different can lead to better communication and interaction,? said Kelly Kozlowski, Automation Alley senior director and staff liaison for the Automation Alley Finance Committee. ?As the weather warms up, we encourage you to join us downtown for a ballgame and check out our new Detroit office. This is a great opportunity to meet interesting people and make new business connections.?
The cost for Automation Alley members, Foundation Members and non-members is $10 for networking only and $40 for networking and the Tigers game. Seats are located in section 139 in the outfield box, rows 24-26. Registration ends May 5 at close of business.
Automation Alley?s Detroit office is located at Grand Circus on the forth floor of Broderick Tower, 1570 Woodward Ave.
