PLYMOUTH ? Bank of Ann Arbor announced the expansion of its Plymouth Office by 25 full time employees. The bank will be relocating its Wholesale Mortgage Lending Division from its current offices in Madison Heights to Plymouth Township.
The Bank of Ann Arbor Wholesale Mortgage Division provides access to competitively priced mortgages for lenders across the Midwest. The operations and administrative functions will be moving to the second floor of the Bank of Ann Arbor offices at 1333 West Ann Arbor Road by the end of August. On a combined basis, the bank closed over $600 million in wholesale and retail mortgage loans in 2010.
The mortgage banking group is an important and strategic revenue producing area for the bank which is reflected by the growth in our mortgage lending efforts over the past few years during a time when many banks were curtailing lending.
