GRAND RAPIDS – Community Resource Connect is a great opportunity for individuals to receive on the spot services including legal advice, DHS application help, resume writing assistance and more.
More than 20 organizations will be present to offer their services. Organizations involved include the Women?s Resource Center, Cherry Street Health Services and Grand Rapids Family Credit Union to name a few. The Rapid will have bus tickets available for the first 200 people through the door.
Community Resource Connect, a free event sponsored by the AmeriCorps members of Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids and hosted by Baxter Community Center, is scheduled for October 11 from 11am-3pm.
