TRAVERSE CITY – The CPM Extrusion Group, consisting of Century Extrusion in Traverse City and Ruiya Extrusion in Nanjing China, will cooperate with ECON GmbH of Weisskirchen, Austria to produce the EUPC line of underwater pelletizers.
The EUPC line is based on the ECON EUP series built in Austria. The EUPC features all critical components from the ECON factory in Austria, with noncritical parts, final assembly, and control systems implemented at the Ruiya Extrusion factory in Nanjing.
Together ECON and CPM recognized a strong market need for a costeffective, high-level, underwater pelletizer for key markets in Asia. The combination of ECON technology with Ruiya Extrusion?s manufacturing capabilities and expansive service network in Asia results in a strong value proposition for Asian manufacturers.
Chinaplas 2014 is the 28th International Exhibition for the Plastics and Rubber Industries. This exhibition will provide CPM and ECON with the audience they need to successfully launch the new EUPC line of underwater pelletizers.
?The EUPC represents the intersection of market-leading technology and system reliability,? said Charlie Spearing, General Manager of Ruiya Extrusion in Nanjing China.
Said Gerhard Hehenberger, CEO of ECON: ?Co-development of the EUPC line has been an exciting opportunity. We look forward to unveiling the EUPC line alongside CPM in Shanghai.?
