GRAND RAPIDS – Davenport University will open a new lounge for veterans on Feb. 17 in the Robert W. Sneden Center, providing a place for veterans to study and build camaraderie.

The Student Veterans of America chapter will use the space to bring in various corporate community members to speak to the group, and host social events.

Guided tours of the new veteran lounge will be given by members of the SVA and military team throughout the event. Light refreshments will be served.
