SALINE – DesignHub, a creative services and marketing firm, has created a brochure and an accompanying countertop display to help Evangelical Homes of Michigan raise funds for the Memory Support Center now under construction at the Brecon Village Retirement Community in Saline.
The brochure and display describe EHM?s Sponsor a Brick program, in which contributors can order brick pavers with personalized inscriptions to be installed in the Memory Support Center?s main entryways. DesignHub?s services for EHM included writing, design, and production of the Sponsor a Brick brochure and countertop display.
Approximately 85 percent of the cost of each brick sponsorship will go toward completion of the Memory Support Center?s construction. The remaining 15 percent will cover the cost of the brick?s material, engraving, and installation.
Sponsored bricks should be installed in Spring 2009, when the Memory Support Center?s walkways are completed. Brick sponsorships may be ordered and paid for online at EvangelicalHomes.Org/BrickSponsor
The Memory Support Center will be a 33,000-square-foot comprehensive memory loss care facility serving persons with Alzheimer?s disease and other forms of dementia. The center will provide a full continuum of care for those affected by memory loss, along with support for their families and friends. The center?s offerings will include an assisted living residence, an adult day center, a home-based program, and a resource center.
Full-time residents will occupy 30 apartment-like suites in three households and four condominium-like duplex cottages, situated among gardens and courtyards on the 30-acre Brecon Village campus. Each household and cottage will have a kitchen, living room, three-season porch, laundry, and storage. The center?s common areas will include a chapel, fitness center, spa and salon, activity rooms, and a market caf/bistro.
The layout of the center will allow residents to go about their normal daily activities while providing complete, 24-hour support in safe, comfortable, familiar surroundings.
