LANSING – Veteran TV newsman Tim Dye is a new vice president of Truscott Rossman and will be based in the growing Grand Rapids office. Dye, most recently news director at WXYZ-TV in Detroit and former news director at WXMI-TV in Grand Rapids.

A Saginaw native who now calls Grand Rapids home, Dye will guide the public relations agency?s regional business development efforts in West Michigan, while using his WXYZ experience to increase Truscott Rossman?s presence in Detroit. He will provide strategic communications support for Truscott Rossman clients across the state.

Dye was assistant news director at WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that he worked for WNEM-TV in Saginaw and WOTV-TV in Grand Rapids. He has a bachelor?s degree in journalism and broadcasting from Central Michigan University.
