WEST BLOOMFIELD – Cancer Information Center, a Michigan-based group of physicians and science experts, have unveiled its new Colon Cancer information web site. Colon Cancer killed 58,000 people last year.

It contains simple to understand web pages to deal with this disease providing reliable medical suggestions. The site also offers ideas on how to get the treatments paid for, what are good alternative treatments – even how to talk with your spouse and kids when this disease strikes.

??We want to give average people information they can understand when they are awake at 3 AM, after they have been told they have this disease and don??t know what to do next,? said Steve Goldner, the website editor and owner. ??Traffic will build for the website as it helps people.?

Cancer Information Center urges everyone to get screened for colon cancer. This is a simple medical problem to detect, even in the early stages, and everyone over 50 years of age needs that checkup. Fifty eight thousand people died of colon cancer last year in the U.S., and that didn??t have to happen, the company says.
