BINGHAM FARMS – EMPOWER Student Information System released its 66th update that contains a bundle of enhancements including the ability to streamline and share data and administrative duties.

The Financial Aid, Billing, Degree Audit, Housing and Human Resources modules were updated, but Update 66?s major enhancements apply to the Alumni & Donor Development, Records and Admissions modules.

Respectively, the “Moves Management” enhancement makes it easy to streamline and track a campaign or planned series of steps, such as letters, phone calls, emails and meetings. The “Competencies” enhancement makes it possible to record and track students’ attempts at and achievement of predefined competencies or specific skills.

Finally, the “Pre-Admission Coursework Audit” enhancement provides the ability to run an audit of a candidate’s previous coursework prior to being admitted into a degree program. These ? and all other enhancements included in Update 66 ? are available to current clients, and will become part of the standard, supported system.

“We’re focused on the continual improvement of EMPOWER,” said President Robert Brender. “As our clients’ needs grow, we grow with them. Each year, we invest more than 10,000 hours of work to provide between 150 and 200 enhancements.”

EMPOWER serves many colleges and universities, including nursing programs and military and government entities. The company is committed to meeting the unique, specialized needs of its diverse clientele.

“We want to make the system as flexible as possible for everyone,” said Brender. “In many cases, there’s plenty of industry crossover. When we provide an update for one school, it’s often useful for another. That’s why we make every enhancement available for all of our clients as part of our annual support program. Additionally, we stay current with government regulations, best practices and market-driven needs.”
