YPSILANTI – Mary Shindell, the partner program manager at Ensure Technologies, has been named by the local chapter of the American Business Women�??s Association as Woman of the Year.

Shindell, an 18 year member of the Maia Chapter of ABWA in Ann Arbor, was recognized by chapter members for her significant contributions throughout her membership. She has served on the chapter board eight years and three years as President. Currently, she is serving her second year as Treasurer. The Woman of the Year program was designed so chapters could recognize a member who has made notable contributions and outstanding achievements. Being named Woman of the Year is a great honor �?? one that�??s highly respected by ABWA members.

Shindell has been with Ensure Technologies since 2004 as the Partner Program Manager. She is responsible for the activities surrounding strategic alliances, including partner channel sales, resellers and technology integration partners. She continues to promote Ensure, a leader in strong authentication for the healthcare industry, by developing valuable programs to assist partners in achieving continued success with the XyLoc products, and move into new markets, such as financial, energy and pharmaceutical, where seamless network security and user authorization are a priority.

Shindell holds an MA in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Michigan, School of Education, and a BA in Psychology, with Teaching Credential, from the University of Michigan – Flint.
