SOUTHFIELD – What will 2014 hold for some of Michigan?s most critical industries, such as Energy, Healthcare, Transportation, Automotive, and more? The Engineering Society of Detroit?s Economic Forecast Conference on Oct. 17 will host a cadre of experts, who will outline the future of these industries and how it will impact stakeholders and consumers.

The event at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi will kick off with a presentation by Paul Traub, BBA, MBA, Business Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago?Detroit Branch where he is responsible for both research and analysis. Traub also serves on advisory boards for the Business Schools at Oakland University in Rochester, and Michigan and Baker College in Flint. Prior to joining the research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Traub served as the President of Scenario Economics LLC and Senior Economist for Americas Commercial Transportation Research Company, LLC (ACT Research).
