ANN ARBOR ?? Fry has launched two new Web sites for The Thompson Group, a direct-to-consumer multi-channel merchant selling products ranging from premium cigars to designer linens and women’s apparel.

Fry delivered a multi-site e-commerce solution for The Thompson Group’s two brand sites, CasualLivingUSA.Com and ThompsonCigar.Com uses the Fry Open Commerce Platform.

“A multi-site solution that allows us to easily manage, market and merchandise is key,” said Steve Cobden, chief marketing officer for The Thompson Group.

The new platform has already made an impact. Both sites have seen increased traffic, improved average order, and reduced cart abandonment, providing value that has exceeded forecast. Fry also provided supplemental services in creative design for the Casual Living site.

“We are thrilled with the outcome of the launch of the Casual Living and Thompson Cigar sites,” said David Fry, president of Fry. “This shows two distinct brands with different promotional needs can be successfully managed with one tool.”
