ROYAL OAK – Riddell, the Official Football Helmet of the National Football League, commissioned iwerk Software Development to create an interactive tool that gives their sales staff the ability to customize the style and design of their Revolution Speed Helmet in front of the customer.
This interactive stand-alone application, developed with Adobe Air, allows the sales staff to easily and quickly give the players and equipment managers a virtual representation of the different custom face mask configurations available to them.
The virtual representation consists of front, side and three-quarters perspective views of the helmet and face mask with customizable colors for the helmet and face mask and highly configurable face mask bar placement. Once a configuration is complete, the final specs and helmet visual are e-mailed to the Riddell manufacturing team for production.
