GRAND RAPIDS – Lambert, Edwards & Associates has been recognized as one of the nation’s leading investor relations firms, earning 2013 Financial Agency of the Year in the Bulldog Stars of PR Awards.

The nationally renowned awards, judged by journalists and hosted by industry trade journal, Bulldog Reporter, recognize outstanding achievement by communications agencies and professionals.

LE&A received the top honor as Financial Agency of the Year for its series of investor relations and financial communications campaigns. These programs encompassed public company work across a variety of industries and market capitalizations, and included transaction communications for multiple billion-dollar mergers and acquisitions, as well as the formation of one of the nation’s first equity crowdfunding platforms, RelayFund.com, co-founded by LE&A president and managing partner Jeff Lambert. LE&A also directed communications for multiple IPOs, equity offerings and private equity funds along with their portfolio companies.

“The experience of our team members combines deep financial communications background, hands-on experience, as well as corporate, investment banking and sell-side analyst experience,” said Lambert. “This unusual hybrid of professional expertise, coupled with our strength in PR and corporate communications, makes us a dual threat, and we’re honored to be recognized for it. Most importantly, we share this recognition with our clients, who give us the opportunity to be part of their team and impact their business.”

Winners were chosen exclusively by members of the media from hundreds of entries representing the very best strategic and tactical prowess in public relations, corporate communications and investor relations. Campaigns were judged on the basis of their ability to achieve extraordinary visibility, influence opinion and achieve a business outcome, as well as on industry leadership, creativity and tenacity.
