GRAND RAPIDS – Lawrence Productions announced it won seven national awards for its recent video work.

The 2011 Hermes Creative Awards honored them with three awards. Their work with the Kalamazoo Nature Center won ?Best Non-Profit Video? for their 50th anniversary program ?Golden Past, Green Future.? ?Best Television Spot? was awarded for their work with GreenStreet Marketing and the Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union for ?Hollis.? A platinum award for ?Best TV Program? was awarded for the work on the fifth season of the Katie Brown Workshop, a nationally-broadcast public television series.

Two Telly Awards were given for ?Best Sales Video? and ?Best Use of Animation? for ?Voice,? a project for ad agency Stap and their client NavTeq. The Katie Brown Workshop won a Telly for ?Best TV Program? as did the Kalamazoo Nature Center?s ?Golden Past, Green Future? for ?Best Documentary.?

Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, web and free-lance professionals. The Association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards for excellence.
