ANN ARBOR – The Linux Box has joined Nagios Enterprises in a partnership that will help both companies provide open source support for Nagios products to customers nationwide.

Nagios Enterprises develops and extends Nagios, an open source, web-based network monitoring program. Nagios provides an extensible platform for network and application monitoring with integrated email and pager-based alerts, support for scripted actions on Unix and Windows platforms, and an intuitive graphical interface.

“The Linux Box and Nagios are partnering together to grow the Nagios user community and provide first class services for a first class product,” said Elizabeth Ziph, Linux Box’s chief executive officer.

The Linux Box is an ISO 9001:2000 certified, privately held project management and consulting practice based in Ann Arbor, which specializes in open source technology on Linux and Unix-like platforms.
