DETROIT – LivioRadio on Tuesday launched its Carmen portable Internet radio solution for cars at the Digital Experience show in New York City.
Carmen consists of a client software (Mac and PC) that records over 42,000 AM/FM and Internet-only radio streams from around the world and loads the recorded content onto the portable media device via USB. Consumers may also load other popular audio files such as music and podcasts, then play back the stored media by plugging Carmen into the vehicle’s 12-volt socket and streaming through an open FM channel or head unit’s auxiliary (AUX) input.
