TRAVERSE CITY ? Kevin Jackson, of the Traverse Bay Economic Corp., will share his tips on establishing, managing and growing business at the March 6 meeting of the Northern Michigan Advertising Club at the Traverse City Elks Club Lodge.
Jackson, a local business and technology expert with more than 20 years experience both nationally and internationally, is well versed in the variety of no-fee and low-fee services offered by several organizations assisting both current business owners and those wanting to get going on their venture.
Jackson will provide an overview of federal, state and local organizations available to help established firms, high-growth companies and start-up businesses. Whether a business is just starting or looking at expansion, access to consulting services to assist with business planning, financing, marketing, human resources, operations and overall strategy development is extensive within Northwestern Michigan.
He is owner and president of Bay Virtual, LLC, offering business and technology development consulting services. He works extensively with small businesses and entrepreneurs within Northwestern Michigan for the Traverse Bay Economic Development Corporation and the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center. Jackson?s leadership positions include Chief Information Officer for a privately-held fulfillment and logistics company and Global Director for HP Technologies in the areas of Consumer Marketing and Support, Call Center Operations, and Customer Relationship Management.
