ROYAL OAK – Long Point Capital is looking for a Chief Financial Officer for an Albany, NY portfolio company.
The company began providing professional engineering services in 1952 and is today considered a leader in its markets. The company has grown into a full service engineering firm providing a broad range of planning and design services in the fields of industrial, power supply and distribution, communications infrastructure, structural, electrical, mechanical, environmental, geotechnical, civil, aviation, rail, and traffic/transportation engineering, as well as landscape architecture, land use planning, surveying, wetland delineation, construction engineering and technology services.
The company has become an industry leader, opening new offices and completing multiple acquisitions. Today, the company employs approximately 700 people with 26 offices throughout the eastern United States. Gross revenue is more than $100 million. The company is owned by the management team and a private investment firm. There is an aggressive growth plan in place to continue to expand the Company’s geography and services.
The Chief Financial Officer is an integral part of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Office. The CFO is responsible for the management of all Accounting and Finance activities for the organization. The current CFO is retiring and the company is looking for an outstanding CFO to help in the development of all strategic planning for the company, including any acquisition activities. The CFO will also be responsible for driving and tracking operational improvements throughout the company.
