TROY – The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants has launched a re-designed web site that will be easier to use than the previous one, the group says.
To ensure that website visitors got the most out of their time on the site, the MACPA involved its members in determining the best layout for the new site. They conducted four focus groups and surveyed members, receiving nearly 900 responses. Based on the responses, the organization focused its efforts in making the website more personal to the visitor.
The re-designed site will allow MACPA members to log-in and see an update on how many Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours they have completed and upcoming courses for which they are registered. Additionally, they can add ?gadgets? with choices of news and entertainment feeds that meet their interests and add ?quick links? that will take them to their most viewed pages on the site.
To help navigate the website, video tutorials will be available for the first few months after the launch to assist visitors in maximizing their time on the site.
Designed by Ann Arbor-based Perich, the functionality was built by the Bryce Group, which is based in Beverly Hills.
