LANSING – Nominations for the 2008 John G. Thodis Michigan Manufacturer of the Year Award program, presented by the Michigan Manufacturers Association, are due March 31. Nominations are open to any individual involved in Michigan’s manufacturing industry.

A panel of judges will choose manufacturing leaders who have made significant contributions to their communities and the manufacturing industry for the honors. Awards are presented in two categories: a “Small Tier,” encompassing companies with fewer than 500 employees and a “Large Tier,” for leaders of companies with more than 500 employees. The judges may also bestow a Special Achievement Award to recognize an individual whose contributions may not fit within the general award criteria.

Recipients will be recognized at the MMA CEO Forum luncheon on May 13 at the Henry Center for Executive Development in Lansing.

Information and a nomination form are available online, at MMA-Net.Org
