MIDLAND – Two new tenants recently located operations to the MidMichigan Innovation Center, the regions epicenter for all things entrepreneurial.

�??These newest additions to the Innovation Center support even more growth across mid-Michigan,�?� said Brent Case, MMIC executive director. �??Both of these companies �?? Bravo: Smart, and CMU Research Corporation �?? provide valuable services, and we�??re glad to add them to the growing group of start-ups and support resources here at the Center.�?�

Bravo:Smart Web Design is a web solutions company that empowers businesses to create real-time, dynamic experiences for their customers, constituents and communities. Their WebSmart Training provides small businesses with the skills, knowledge and technologies to create, update and maintain their own Web 2.0 websites.

In addition to Web 2.0 training sessions, their Web Site Services can help increase traffic, customer retention and usability; create customer-driven marketing and graphics; and ensure design/architecture flexibility and innovation for future needs.

�??We are very excited to become a part of MMIC because of the innovative environment, friendly tenants and staff that work very hard towards the success of the initiatives happening at the center,�?� said Marketing Director Rebecca Kotz. �??Thus far, we have found the collaboration to be instrumental to our creativity and growth.�?�

Central Michigan University Research Corporation (CMU-RC) is a not-for-profit organization established to facilitate applied research and innovative business development between the University and not-for-profit companies and organizations for the express purpose of economic development in the State of Michigan.

�??The increased efficiencies and reach we gain by adding a physical location within the MidMichigan Innovation Center will most certainly increase our effectiveness, as we work to spur economic development in the region,�?� said Ken Van Der Wende, President and CEO. �??The connections and collaboration in our partnership will allow us to help more Michigan firms gain the competitive edge they need to be successful in our state.�?�

The MidMichigan Innovation Center is a private, non-profit organization created to provide entrepreneurs and start-up companies with a supportive and collaborative environment.
