DETROIT – Matt Hovey, Innovation Architect and Principal Mobile Technologist at General Motors, will be giving this year’s Keynote Speech at MobiDevDay Detroit on Saturday May 19 at the restored Madison building.

Hovey has led telematics and mobile technology teams in both Engineering and IT domains, including OnStar’s Advanced System Architecture team and GM’s Mobile Computing group. Matt will speak at MobiDevDay about The State of Enterprise Mobile.

Joining Hovey will be Brian Munzenberger from Detroit Labs talking about iPhone development, Charlie Collins from Atlanta speaking about the Google TV?s Android platform and Steve Keinath, a programming teacher from the Jackson Area Career Center, who will be a speaking about game development. Keinath will be bringing some of his 11th and 12th grade students to help present and demo their mobile games.
