TROY – Midwest Technology Leaders is asking for nominations for the 2009 Midwest Collaboration Award, created in 2005 to identify, create, support and honor impacting partnerships between Midwest companies and local individuals or groups benefiting the technology community.
Information technology is one of the fastest growing sectors of the Midwest economy. As the regional economy has become increasingly more reliant upon technology, local communities, organization and businesses have also come to have a vested interest in the role technology pays within their world. This award recognizes one partnership that has made a recognizable impact on the growth of the technology community. Nominations must be received no later than May 8 and can be submitted online at midwesttechnologyleaders.com/awards.
Last years recipient of the the MCA was The State of Michigan IT Department, the State’s Department of Management and Budget, Office of Retirement Services in Lansing, and Systems Technology Group in Troy, for their innovative MiAccount development.
The award will be presented during a cocktail reception, at the conclusion of the Midwest Technology Leaders 2009 Symposium at the MGM Grand Detroit on June 3.
