SOUTHFIELD – Have you used Dropbox, the cloud-based file sharing and backup service? On Nov. 7, the Michigan Council of Women in Technology will provide a description of Dropbox functionality and how to set it up, sync files and share folders and files. Participants will learn what’s included in the free service and which additional features are available for a monthly fee.

Joyce Arceri (MSA, ITIL, MOS) and Lori Brauer will lead the session. She frequently uses Dropbox to collaborate with colleagues. Arceri is a 25-year IT professional with extensive experience in customer relationship management, end user support, programming, training and continuous process improvements.

Brauer provides operations support to MCWT, using Dropbox to support MCWT fundraising and volunteer efforts. Updating website content, building eblasts, and supporting the partnership committee are a few of the activities that balance a very creative life as a jewelry designer.She began her career as a graphic designer at Crain Communications and Campbell Ewald.
