ROCHESTER – Oakland University has opened a technology training facility that includes state-of-the-art equipment crammed with software packages that include Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Photoshop Elements, Premier Elements and multiple versions of Microsoft Office Suite.

The Technology Training Center offers can accommodate large or small groups in a conference, round table or classroom setting. A trainer PC with HDTV and touch-screen technology provides dynamic presentation capabilities that enhance training experiences for all. A superior sound system combined with oversize flat-monitors gives each participant an ideal environment in which to learn new technology.

The facility offers a complete array of technology-based services, including a wireless Internet connection, CD and DVD-burning, color laser-printing, digital and still video cameras and DVD/VHS capabilities. The facility’s close proximity to area hotels and access to catering services add to its continuing emergence as a premier destination for technology training in southeast Michigan.
