FLINT ? Online Tech has spent $3 million to double the capacity at its Flint Township data center, both in physical space and power.

The facility expansion boasts a total of 22,500 square feet and includes the addition of two new 1 Megawatt generators. This brings the data center?s total backup power to 4 Megawatts, making it more redundant and reliable.

?Online Tech is growing rapidly, and this multi-million dollar investment in our Flint data center is the latest step we have taken to expand our mission critical facilities to support customers,? said co-CEO Mike Klein. ?This follows quickly on the heels of our Metro Detroit data center announcement a few weeks ago, and we plan to make additional data center announcements in the near future about Online Tech?s expansion to other Midwest markets.?

Co-CEO Yan Ness said these aren?t just investments in buildings, rather investments in its customers who rely on our secure cloud and colo services for their critical operations and to ensure that they are compliant.

?This investment in Flint and our expansion into other markets is positioning Online Tech as the go-to provider of secure, compliant cloud and colo services in the Midwest,? said Ness.
