Former FDA Associate Commissioner of Foods Dr. David Acheson will help food and beverage processors learn how to develop and execute a comprehensive food safety plan. In his leadership positions at both USDA-FSIS and FDA, Dr. Acheson played an integral role in driving food safety policy and practices and risk management strategies. Dr. Acheson currently serves as Managing Director, Food and Import Safety Practice, at Leavitt Partners.
Webinar attendees will learn how to identify the proper components for a thorough and effective food safety plan, formalize existing practices and establish a system for ongoing documentation to comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
