BRIGHTON – ToolWorx Information Products has released ToolWorx SmartPTI Suite to meet the Produce Traceability Initiative compliance labeling guidelines.
The SmartPTI Suite uses Intermec Smart Printers to create a one-piece labeling system with no PC or terminal needed to print a PTI-compliant label. As such, this labeling solution can be used indoors or outdoors in any harsh environment with minimal operator training and interaction.
SmartPTI consists of four applications:
SmartVision fully automated labeling system for harvesters
SmartButton semi-automated push button labeling system for harvesters
SmartTrailer mobile field labeling system for batch printing
SmartRepack batch/individual labeling system for repacking in shed
The SmartPTI Suite was introduced at the United Fresh 2010 convention in Las Vegas that was held on April 20-23.
